Our Team
Different strengths. One shared belief in how a home should feel.
pooja gandhi
Founder & Creative DirectorPooja spent a decade in New York's fashion industry, discovering emerging designers and brands before the industry caught on. The fast pace had its rewards, but playing a hand in overconsumption sat at odds with her minimalist philosophy. Growing up in a home where experiences mattered more than things, Pooja had been building efficient systems since she was a kid - somehow, her career had drifted far from that instinct.
In 2020, the pause of the pandemic gave her the push to reset. She left fashion, left New York, and moved to Chicago.
She and her husband bought their first home together. Organizing every inch of it herself, Pooja realized, for the first time, the true scope of her talent. Word spread quickly among friends, and it wasn't long before Pooja saw an opportunity to turn that talent into something bigger.
Wellnest was born in 2021. Today, Pooja leads Wellnest's creative vision, drawing on a decade of fashion industry experience to bring a refined, discerning eye to every space she touches. Off duty, she's chasing her toddler son around the city and hunting down her next favorite coffee spot with her husband.
Sydney Garver
Partner & Operations DirectorSydney earned a degree in Gerontology before becoming a licensed nursing home administrator, leading long-term care operations - demanding work that sharpened the exact skills that would define her second career: management, operations, and building environments that function for the people living in them. Organization was always the thread running through it, whether she was streamlining processes at work or creating systems for friends.
She had a gift for spotting the small shifts that made a real difference in how a space, or a day, actually worked.
Eventually, she leaned into that instinct and reached out to professional organizers, which is how she found Pooja. After a few years working alongside her, Sydney knew this was her life's calling and left her nursing home career to join Wellnest full-time.
Today, Sydney leads Wellnest's operations, bringing the same precision to every project that once shaped her work in long-term care. Off duty, she's spending time with her fiancé, family, and dog - often at their cottage in Michigan, exploring Chicago's neighborhoods, or testing out a new gluten-free recipe.
lindsey kobus
Admin & Social ManagerLindsey spent her career in ad sales, building brand strategy at Univision and later Pinterest, helping clients bring their stories to life for the audiences that mattered most. It was fast, high-profile work, though she used to joke with friends that if she ever left corporate life, she'd become a professional organizer. When she was laid off, the joke became the plan.
Lindsey started organizing for friends and quickly discovered what set her apart: she has ADHD, and it shaped an organizing philosophy all her own — A label doesn't determine where something belongs; if you actually use it in a specific spot, that's its home. That same instinct for creating structure for an ADHD brain is what she now brings to every client, effortlessly.
These days, Lindsey transforms spaces as an Assistant Organizer and channels her storytelling background into shaping Wellnest's social strategy and content.
Off duty, she's traveling, at Pilates or lifting weights, cooking something new, or holding a matcha she'll never turn down. Her own closet remains, fittingly, the one space she still can't fully declutter.
